About Teresa

Throughout my career, I've brought together people, ideas, and capital to create opportunities that would not have existed otherwise.

From venture philanthropy to global giving, from financial institutions to mission-driven organizations, my work has always been centered on one belief: extraordinary outcomes emerge when the right people come together.

One experience that profoundly shaped my thinking was creating what is believed to be the first venture philanthropy fund within a major academic medical center. By bringing together visionary philanthropists, investment professionals, scientific leadership, and a shared commitment to innovation, the fund raised more than $120 million during its 18-month fundraising period to accelerate promising cancer research.

I work with a small number of organizations and leaders each year, allowing me to invest deeply in every engagement.
